CINTESIS@RISE
CINTESIS – Center for Health Technology and Services Research is a large Research and Development unit dedicated to finding short-term solutions to specific health problems while maintaining a focus on cost-effectiveness. Along with three other research units, CINTESIS is part of the RISE Associated Laboratory – Health Research Network. Specializing in gerontology and geriatrics, AgeingC is a CINTESIS research group that brings together approximately 72 researchers.

DigiMedia (Digital Media and Interaction Research Centre) is an interdisciplinary research center at the University of Aveiro, dedicated to innovation and the development of new interaction approaches for human-centered digital media applications.
Associação Alzheimer Portugal
The Alzheimer Portugal Association is a nationwide non-profit organization founded in 1988 to improve the quality of life of people with dementia and their caregivers. In accordance with the values of absolute respect for people with dementia, self-determination and a person-centered approach, Alzheimer Portugal provides services specifically designed for the needs of people with dementia, and is a national pioneer in the management of dedicated Day Centers, Home Services and a Nursing Home.
Santa Casa da Misericórdia Riba D’Ave | CIDIFAD
SCM Riba D’Ave operates in the areas of health, education and social inclusion. CIDIFAD, one of its facilities, is an innovative project in the area of dementia, with responses ranging from diagnosis (Neuroscience and Imaging Consultations), outpatient units (Day Unit and Promotion of Autonomy and Programs) and inpatient care with 108 beds (4 inpatient units, palliative care and temporary accommodation). It has a multidisciplinary team and an ID&F department for dementias.
Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Gaia
The mission of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Vila Nova de Gaia is to provide personalized and humanized social work services for children, the elderly and families in situations of poverty and social exclusion in the Vila Nova de Gaia community.
