  • Design for the Humanised Communication of Dementia: co-creation of an information platform about engaging in meaningful activities
    DECOHDE is an exploratory research project that aims to study and explore the design of information resources that are suitable, accessible, attractive and comforting for people with dementia in Portugal, particularly about meaningful activities.

    This project is being carried out by a team of researchers from the University of Aveiro, the ID+, DigiMedia and CINTESIS@RISE research centres. It also has the participation of consultants from LUCA School of Arts (Belgium) and Sheffield Hallam University (United Kingdom), as well as the support of the Alzheimer Portugal Association and Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Gaia. The project is funded by the FCT – Foundation for Science and Technology (ref. 2022.03295.PTDC).
